New Kits Launched



Time to forget about our relegation from the First Division last season... the sun is out, the fixture list is out tomorrow and Ayr have launched pictures of the new playing kits for the forthcoming season.

And very smart it is too!

Surridge have been ditched and the Honest Men will be sporting Nike shirts as they look to bounce back at the first attempt. The home shirt is white with thin horizontal pin-stripes and the away shirt black with gold pinstripes. An all-red change shirt will be worn predominately by the reserves but may get a run out when Ayr travel to Elgin for the cup tie at the end of July.

In a break from tradition, the new home shirt will be available before the start of the new season. It goes on sale on July 1st with the away kit and leisureware promised in time for the start of the new season. Its planned that a limited number of change shirts will available later in the year.

CIS Cup - Elgin Away 31st July.



Never mind the world cup.. Summer football begins this year in Elgin. Ayr United have been drawn away to Elgin City in the CIS Cup on Saturday 31st July.

Should be a good day out and even a slim chance of progress into the next round.

BBC Alba Challenge Cup - Airdrie

OK not sure many are going to get excited about this draw but Ayr have been drawn against Airdrie Utd on Saturday 24th July 2010 in the 1st round of the challenge cup.

Only real chance of silver this season... who am I kidding 2nd Div Champions 2010/2011 Ayr United (if only)
